Favourite Music

This is abit of a random blog post for me, but as I was on my way to Uni the other day, I was sat listening to my iTunes on my phone & realised how much I love certain albums. So I've decided to make a post on my weird and wonderful music taste!

Ok, the first album I'm going to write about is by The Maine and the album is Pioneer. This is one of them albums I can listen to constantly and not get bored. I absolutely love it! I'm not sure what it is about this album that I love, I just really enjoy listening to it a lot of the time.

The album is so chilled out yet so exciting at the same time, if you've listened to it you'll know exactly what I mean. There are songs you can listen to when you're feeling abit down but then the next song will come on and it'll make you feel so good!

My favourite songs from the album are; Identifiy, Time, Some Days, When I'm at Home and my favourite song by The Maine all together has to be; Like We Did (Windows Down). I'm actually going to put this album on right now cause I love it so much.

This reminds me, I'm going to see The Maine on Monday which I'm very excited about, this will be my second time seeing them.

Next of my favourite albums is by The Ghost Inside and the album is called 'Get What You Give'. This is a strange one for me as its the only album I've really listened to by The Ghost inside, but this album is absolutely one of my favourites. This album is a heavier music style to The Maine.

Again, I'm not really sure what it is that I love about this album, my favourite songs on the album is 'Dark Horse' just because its so good to sing along to (yes even the heavier parts!), 'This Is What I Know About Sacrifice' is another really great song on this album. This, for me, is another one of them albums I can just stick on whilst on my way to town/work/university and listen all the way.

I really should download some more songs of The Ghost Inside - so that's my plan for after writing this post! I really recommend this album to people who are into heavier music.

Next of my favourite albums is by one of my most favourite bands in the world (haaa!) it is Critical Acclaim by Avenged Sevenfold. I have loved this band since I was 14 years old & if you ever see me I'm more than likely to be wearing an AX7 tshirt because I live in band tshirts on my lazier days. Funny because I'm actually wearing one as I type!

Critical Acclaim was the album that made me fall in love with this band, it is SUCH a good album. When people ask me why I love heavier music my response is always the same; I love the sound of the actual instruments more than the singing (even though M Shadows voice is amazing!) I don't know if anyone else feels like that when listening to music but I really do.

Favourite songs from the album; Unbound (The Wild ride), A Little Piece of Heaven - this song is 8 minutes long but the story in the song is so funny (and pretty messed up really!) & Dear God, this song is a slower song, the lyrics are so beautiful I would definitely recommend listening to this song even if you're not into this type of music. Same with So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold, this song is not on this album but it is genuinely such a beautiful song, weird story but I chose lyrics from this song to be put on a card at my nan's funeral just because the song has absolutely perfect lyrics. I would definitely give these two songs a listen if you haven't before.

Next album is; Forever The Sickest Kids - self titled album & their first album Underdog Alma Mater. FTSK have been one of my favourite bands for as long as I can remember. If you need a pop punk band with really fun music, this band is the best band to listen to. Their music is so exciting and it makes me want to dance/cheers me up and puts me in a good mood whenever I listen to it.

Favourite songs off the albums - Woah Oh!, My Worst Nightmare, The Way She Moves, Phone Call, That for Me, Catastrophe, Same Dumb Excuse, What Happened to Emotion? & Good Life. I think I basically just wrote down every name of the whole of the first album but oh well! I do love that album.

I've seen FTSK live soo many times and every time I have been SO excited. I saw them a lot more when I first started listening to them & I've also met this band a few times, they are the loveliest band! (Kyle from FTSK once offered to buy me and my friend some food because it was so cold & we had a walk to the closest fast food place with him! So cute!)

Last but not least, I have to give them a mention because my favourite music post just would not be right without them in it... McFly! I'm just going to throw this out there, listen to every one of their songs. They're such a good band, I've loved them since I was 11 years old. Every song, every album, every cover song, they are just soo great!
